Updated: June 20, 2020
We are planning to resume in-person, on-site worship services on Father’s Day, June 21, with an outdoor service.
Though we ideally would love to have everyone with us, anyone who has been sick or experienced symptoms (such as cough, sore throat, headache, fever, chills, body aches, etc.) within the last two weeks should plan to stay at home, along with others from their household.
Others may choose not to attend initially as we navigate this unusual crisis, and should not feel condemned for doing so. In order to serve those at home, we are going to continue to stream our services at facebook.com/fbclivonia. Links to our Facebook live and YouTube webcasts can be found on our Digital Resources page.
As we return to our physical location please remember:
  • Follow the guidelines above about staying home if you or someone in your family has been ill or you are experiencing symptoms.
  • Social distancing-6′ apart from those not in your immediate family
  • No physical contact
  • Face coverings required inside the building
  • Wash hands frequently and use the hand sanitizer stations after using the restroom or touching surfaces.

Dear Faith Bible Church Family & Friends,
The uncertainty of the COVID-19, or coronavirus outbreak is creating anxiety in our workplaces, schools, and day-to-day activities. Yet we remain certain of God’s steadfast presence and careful attention to all that is happening. Please join us in praying for those who are affected by this illness, as well as their caregivers and those who are working around the clock to minimize the impact of this virus. In Psalm 46, we are reminded that it is God who is our refuge and strength, and our ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, let us not fear, but with confidence use this opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus through our prayers and our care for others.
Out of love for our church family and community, particularly the most at-risk among us, the elders have made the following decision:

At this time, we are suspending our on-site Sunday morning gatherings until further notice.

Our 11am Sunday Morning Services will be live-streamed on Facebook Live. Please join us. The video feed will begin 10-15 minutes before the service starts.
If you have questions about how to access the live feed,
please call the church at 734.464.7990.
We are also suspending all other Faith Bible Church gatherings on site through at least 5pm, April 5, 2020-the period of time covered by Governor Whitmer’s school closing order.

Federal, state and local health officials continue to announce new and additional recommendations. Our church leadership will take these into account in a timely manner and make decisions in what we believe is in the best interest of our church family and community.  We will communicate updates with you through various channels: website, Facebook, and our phone messaging system. We will post updates as we have them at this page: www.fbclivonia.com/cvirus.

Even though we’re not gathering in-person for church, you still have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others by giving your tithes and offerings through our giving page.
Consider signing up for RightNow Media, where you will find great streaming video resources for the whole family to help you use these days for building your faith, hope and love. Get your FREE account by visiting our RightNow Media page.

As always, to help prevent the spread of germs, please:

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue if you sneeze, or cough into your elbow.
  • Wash your hands frequently for a minimum of 20 seconds with hot/warm water and soap, and encourage everyone in your home (especially your kids!) to do the same.
  • Get in the habit of not touching your face.
  • Refrain from hugs or handshakes for the time being.

affected by COVID-19, and pray that in this uncertain time that believers
at FBC and around the world will live out the hope and love of Christ
and the good news of the Gospel.
